“I wish to thank the Director General of FARG for the visit. Actually, FARG ranks among top institutions we collaborate with and we are very proud of the existing collaboration as it benefits both of us. Given this, we are committed to safeguarding the relationships between both institutions so as to make greater strides together in the days ahead”, he said.

Speaking at the event, Hon. UWACU Julienne urged FARG beneficiaries to value their purpose of being at a higher learning institution and make sure that they solely do what is in line with their mission as students.

“Your performance will determine whether you have been at school for a purpose or just the waste of time. Currently, the job market requires knowledgeable and skilled people who can prove to have mastered the skills acquired in class. You can’t last longer at a given work if you can’t prove to be brainy”, she told the students.

“Your performance will determine whether you have been at school for a purpose or just the waste of time. You can’t last longer at a given work if you can’t prove to be brainy”, she told the students.

We are working with the management of the university to monitor your performance so as to see whether the support you get from the Fund helps you to perform well in class. When you do better in class, this gives us pride and joy and it is a motivational factor for the support handed to you. So, work hard and excel in your studies”, she added.

A number of questions were asked and answered to everyone’s satisfaction and this marked the end of the event.
