Kigali Independent University and Natcom Services Ltd offered a public lecture to students

On 24 March 2025, Natcom Services Ltd in collaboration with ULK’s School of Science and Technology hosted a public lecture on cybersecurity. This initiative aligns with ULK’s strategic objectives to ensure that graduates gain insights not only through formal coursework but also via shared experiences with industry professionals.

The lecture concentrated much on What cybersecurity is, its importance in today’s digital world and Real-world examples of cyberattacks (like data breaches, ransomware attacks, and social engineering).

During the public lecture, Kigali Independent University was represented by Mr. Rutarindwa Jean Pierre, the Computer Science Head of Department who expressively thanked Natcom Services Ltd team for sharing all these experiences with ULK students. Natcom services ltd’s esteemed delegation included Kevine Bajeneza, Founder and CEO; Dusenge Gideon, Sales Officer and Digital Trainer; Abdoul Hakim Niyonkuru, Cisco Networks Trainer and Consultant; Cedric Niyonkuru, Software Developer and Trainer; and Alungal Saeed, Cybersecurity Expert and Consultant. The entire team encouraged students to do a lot of vast certifications to help them conquer current challenges and trends in the field of computer science.
