MEMBERS OF UNITY CLUB INTWARARUMURI AWARDED CONTESTANTS STUDENTS ON NDI UMUNYARWANDA PROGRAMME

This Tuesday, 8th August 2023, Unity Club Intwararumuri members visited ULK-Gisenyi community with aim of concluding the third stage of ‘Ndi Umunyarwanda’ competition at the level of colleges and Universities, 2023

The Vice-Chancellor of Kigali Independent University ULK expressed his deep gratitude to H.E Paul Kagame and The First Lady Unity Club initiator, Her Excellency Jeannette Kagame, to have always been on the top of sustainable solution that would keep Rwandans united. He was much appreciative to Unity Club members present for their usual support.

The interim Mayor of rubavu district welcomed the guests of honour and expressed his deep gratitude to H.E Paul Kagame and The First Lady Jeannette Kagame, who initiated Unity Club Intwararumuri , that keeps Rwandans united and the source of resilience. He thanked each and every participants especially contestants who took their hard time to prepare their arts on the topic ‘NDI UMUNYARWANDA, Igitekerezo-ngenga cy’ukubaho kwacu’

Unity Club. ‘Unity Club is an organization founded on 28th February 1996 by Her Excellence Madam Jeannette KAGAME, the First lady of Rwanda. She brought together Cabinet members and their spouses, ex- Cabinet members and their spouses with the aim of planting culture of unity and peace which is the foundation of sustainable development of a country’. She said

Furthermore, Honorable Minister Marie Solange KAYISIRE was so excited with songs and poems of the best performers in competitions organised by Unity Club in 20 colleges and universities in Rwanda. The theme of the competition was “Ndi Umunyarwanda », The main idea of our existence” and the Champions were awarded with different prizes including money ranged between 200,000-300,000 Rwandan francs, certificate,  to mention but a few.
