OFFICIAL OPENING OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2023-2024
Monday 9th October 2023, ULK Ltd officially opened the new academic year 2023-2024. In his word of prayer, prior to all on the agenda, the Founder and Owner of ULK, Prof Dr RWIGAMBA Balinda, put all attendees in the Hands of Almighty God.
The Vice Chancellor of Kigali Independent University, Prof Dr NKUNDABATWARE Innocent, together with the Principal of ULK Polytechnic Institute, Eng MUSABYIMANA Jean Pierre, seconded him in staff introduction and warm welcoming note for newly registered and old students.
The package of the day from the Founder of ULK Ltd was full of pieces of advice and warnings. He gave students all hints that would help them perform better in their academic projects including but not limited to maximum participation in all class activities, regular personal work, group work, English language mastery and ICT skills. He mentioned that a human being that the world needs is the one with science and conscience. He taught them to package knowledge, skills, competence, moral and ethical values at a time. In line with both academic and discipline aspects, The Founder urged the students to comply with all ULK regulations.
On the other side, Prof Dr RWIGAMBA Balinda stuck on the aspect of behaviour that he can’t tolerate. This is in line with clothing, drunkenness, robbery and fighting. He showed by examples the clothing of ladies and gentlemen at university from the crowd.
The father to many ended with an expression of gratitude to students for having chosen ULK and a word of prayer.
